Our Values
Here at Growing, our values are at the core of everything we do.
We respect neurodiverse minds
As a neurodiverse owned clinic, we celebrate and respect neurodiversity and ensure to support each child's strengths. It is never about 'fixing' and always about providing adjustments to allow them to thrive.
We follow a child-led approach
We respect each child's autonomy by following their lead during sessions. We focus on their individual goals, interests and strengths, and ensure therapy is adapted to each child's learning and sensory needs.
We are passionate about inclusion
We strive to create an inclusive and accessible environment where all children, regardless of disability or condition, feel valued and included. This includes education settings and the community, and ensuring all children can thrive.
We are committed to growth and learning
As part of our commitment to evidence-based practice, we strive to never stop 'growing' and continue to develop our clinical knowledge and expertise. This includes being up to date with the latest research and completing professional development.

Our Team

Adele (She/Her)
Director and
Occupational Therapist

Adele holds a Master of Occupational Therapy Practice from Monash University. She has worked right across the lifespan and a range of services, including hospitals, private practice, non-for-profit organisations and special education. Adele has extensive experience working with neurodivergent children and their families to provide holistic, strengths based care that maximises their ability to participate in day-to-day life. This includes Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Down Syndrome,
Dyslexia, Global Developmental Delay and other rare genetic conditions.

As a neurodivergent (ADHD) person, Adele truly believes that everyone, irrespective of disability or condition, should have the same opportunity to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. She does not believe that neurodivergent children and adults need to change - we are perfect the way we are. She aims to empower and support families to thrive through connection and play. Outside of work, Adele enjoys spending time with her young family, training for fun runs and trying new cafes around Melbourne.
