Fees and Funding
Growing Occupational Therapy welcomes children and their families who are under the following funding schemes:

National Disability Insurance Scheme
The NDIS provides funding to support Australians with disability. Through the NDIS Early Childhood Approach, children under 6 with developmental delays, and children under 9 with a diagnosed disability, can access support. For children under 6, a formal diagnosis is not required if there are concerns in more than one area of their development.
We accept plan and self-managed participants only.

Medicare Rebates
Some children may qualify for Medicare rebates through either Chronic Disease Management Plan or Complex Neurodevelopmental Plan (Item 135).

To check if your child is eligible, speak with your GP for CDM or Paediatrician for Item 135.
We can claim Medicare rebates on your behalf.

Private Health Insurance
If you have private health insurance with extras cover, you may be eligible for a rebate on occupational therapy services. Please check with your health insurance provider to confirm your child’s eligibility.
If applicable, rebates can be claimed directly through your health fund using the details provided on your invoice after the appointment.
We accept all Australian private health funds.
