NDIS
Self and plan managed.
We do not accept agency managed.
Medicare
Item 135 and Chronic Disease Management.
You will require a referral from your GP or Paediatrician.
Private including Private Health
Private health insurance may cover some of the costs of your therapy sessions.
Fees
Each fee covers direct therapy time as well as the planning, resource preparation, parent communication and progress tracking that sit behind every appointment.

Our hourly charge varies but fluctuates between $193.99 - $230 per hour.

As a fee-based service, payment is required on day of service (except for NDIS plan managed clients.)
Initial Occupational Therapy Assessment
In our first appointment, we will meet and chat about how Growing can support you and your child. This looks like conducting a thorough assessment, and evaluate your child's strengths and areas of support. We will identify some goals for therapy.

You'll receive a clear written therapy plan with goals afterwards. It is a personalised plan of how we will work together, and takes into consideration your child's level of support needs.

This initial appointment is parent-only and conducted online. This is so you can be as candid as possible about your child.

Standard Therapy Appointment (NDIS)
75 minute session which includes 50-minutes direct in-clinic targeted therapy with your child. Followed by 25 minutes for note-taking, parent written feedback and planning for future sessions. This additional due to the increased complexity that is associated with working within the NDIS space.

Standard Therapy Appointment (Medicare & Private)
60 minute session which includes 45-minutes direct in-clinic targeted therapy with your child. Followed by 15 minutes for note-taking, parent written feedback and planning for future sessions.

Travel Fees
We charge a travel fee for all off-site sessions or observations. This includes time taken to travel, kms travelled and any parking costs. We charge one way travel, unless it is the final appointment for the day which incurs a travel fee back to our clinic.

We do not travel more than 30 minutes one-way for any given appointment.

Other
We often receive requests families to liaise with various professionals related to their child's care, such as GPs, Paediatricians, educators and other allied health specialists. Unless it is a simple request, we charge for all non-face-to-face administration.
We review our fees annually and let families know in advance of any change.

Your journey with us starts off with 4 simple steps
Complete Referral
The first step is to get in touch.
Our preferred way is for you to either email us or complete our online contact form so we can gather your details. We will then contact you offering an appointment, if we have availability.
Initial Assessment
In our first parent only assessment, we will meet and chat about how Growing can support you and your child. This looks like conducting a thorough assessment, and evaluate your child's strengths and areas of support. We will identify some goals for therapy.
Second Asessment
Your child will come in and complete the second part of the initial assessment. This is a relaxed, play based appointment where we get to know each other. We may complete standardised assessments depending on your goals.
Tailored Therapy Plan
We will then create a tailored therapy plan and goals for your child. This ensures we are transparent in how we will work towards your goals.
All therapy plans are written in blocks of 5-10 sessions.
